Marcel Barnard is professor of Practical Theology at the Protestant Theological University (Amsterdam, the Netherlands), professor of Liturgical Studies at VU University Amsterdam, and Professor Extraordinary of Practical Theology at the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa). He is research leader of Practical Theology at the Protestant Theological University.
