In this episode of the Faith in Youth-podcast a conversation with Lydia van Leersum-Bekebrede. She is a cultural anthropologist at the OJKC and conducts at research on children (age 0-12) in liturgical practices. In this podcast you will hear more about her research on children in worship and liturgical practices, and the agency of children. Also some findings of the research on children in relation to what is called 'material religion', meaning here, how children respond to sound, objects and the environment of a building, particularly ancient buildings, and in what way this influences the participation of children in worship and liturgical practices.
